About ExpatClientHub

We build tools for the people who keep businesses compliant.

ExpatClientHub is a small, deliberate product for accounting, bookkeeping and advisory practices. One secure place for client documents, client records and the deadlines that never move.

Our story

It started with a lost UTR and a 40-message email thread.

Our founders spent years inside practices, watching the same thing happen every January. A client sends a scan to one partner's inbox. A junior asks for it again because they can't see it. The authentication code lives in a spreadsheet that three people have open at once.

None of it was anyone's fault. The tools were never built for the job: email was never a filing system, and a shared drive has no idea which client a document belongs to.

So we built the thing practices kept describing — a portal clients can use without a phone call, records shaped around how a UK practice actually works, and deadlines that chase themselves.

What we hold to

Three principles that decide what gets built and, more often, what doesn't.

Security first

Tenant isolation is enforced in the database itself, not in application code. Every record belongs to one practice and can never be read by another.

Built with practitioners

Every field type, status colour and reminder rule came out of a conversation with an accountant mid-season, not a product workshop.

Clarity over features

We would rather ship six things that work perfectly on a Monday morning than sixty that need a training day.

The team

Four people, all of whom have sat on the practice side of the desk.
